Mazda announces 2011 Takuya models

ADVERTISEMENTS
After the successful run of the ‘Takuya Special Edition Range’ presented in mid-2010, Mazda is launching five 2011 ‘Takuya’ models across the Mazda2, Mazda3 and Mazda6 line-ups. These models have a total production volume of 3894 units. The Takuya models have features that are typically only offered on top-of-the-range derivatives. The Takuya quintet, which have awesome aesthetics, are set to go on sale starting Feb. 1.

Its pricing is appealing as the models offer tremendous value. Mark Cameron, Sales Director, Mazda UK, said that the 2011 Mazda Takuya range offers “genuine exclusivity, evocative sports styling and enhanced equipment.” Cameron added that previous special edition Mazda models sold quickly and boasted impressive residual values.  The Mazda2 recently came in sixth in the Parker’s Cost of Motoring report, which Cameron considers to be a testament to its competitive price and great value. According to Parker’s deprecation statistics, the Mazda2 lost only £2,022 and 23% of its original value.

“The 2011 Mazda Takuya range offers buyers genuine exclusivity, evocative sports styling and enhanced equipment, while representing fantastic value for money,” comments Mark Cameron, Sales Director, Mazda UK. “Previous special edition Mazda models have proved hugely popular, selling fast and boasting impressive residual values. The Takuya range offers yet another reason for value-seeking consumers that want something different from the mainstream to head down to their local Mazda dealership this winter,” stated the press release.[via - 4wheelsnews]
