Honda has not announced the specs for the car but it had revealed that the powertrain will mirror the last iteration of the City. Honda has confirmed that both 1.3-liter and 1.5-liter I-4 engines will be available but power ratings have yet to be disclosed.
It’s likely that transmission offerings will include a five-speed manual and a five-speed automatic but there may also be a CVT (which was offered in select markets). Honda is targeting young Chinese buyers, especially those who are looking for their first vehicle. This means that it will be priced low in order to compete with rivals such as the BYD F3 and L3. The S1 arrives in Honda showrooms across China in the spring.[via-3wheelsnews]
